Position Summary:

Warehouse/Production Team Leader, coordinates activities of workers in aluminum plate saw processing including pulling, packaging, and shipping customer orders. The Production Team Leader will perform the following duties:

Responsibilities

1. Assigns duties and monitors work for accuracy and performance.
2. Leads the aluminum plate processing team in scheduling orders, expediting critical shipments, and maintaining on-time performance.
3. Establishes and maintains rapid turnaround and short lead times.
4. Manages routine equipment maintenance for the production cell.
5. Follows TW Corporate guidelines and promotes a safe, efficient work environment.
6. Supports Branch Management in fostering a positive employee culture, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence.
7. Provides work direction, both written and oral, to warehouse team personnel.
8. Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
9. Addresses errors and complaints promptly.
10. Operates in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; experience in metals industry helpful.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English; interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Proficiency with PC programs such as Excel and Word; ability to learn Metalware.
