Job summary

RealCold in Texas is seeking a dependable Warehouse Lead Team Member to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe picking, packing, shipping, and receiving while supporting the team with accuracy and efficiency. This role collaborates with Operations Leadership to build a positive, accountable culture.

Required are 2+ years of warehousing leadership, forklift/WMS experience, basic math, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse/distribution leadership experience.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or high-reach equipment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Basic math skills.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, assign, and monitor daily warehouse activities to meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
• Train and coach warehouse team members on equipment, processes, and safety procedures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to the warehouse team.
• Assist with loading/unloading, forklift operation, product relocation, and other warehouse duties as needed.
• Conduct regular audits and address damaged or defective products promptly.
• Partner with Operations Leadership to ensure all warehouse functions are completed efficiently.
• Maintain team focus, meet deadlines, and complete assigned projects.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution leadership experience.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or high-reach equipment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Basic math skills.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Ability to walk through warehouse for up to 8 to 10 hours per shift.
• Must be able to maintain attention for long periods of time with constant interruptions
• Continually: Stand, Sit, walk, bend, speak, and hear
• Occasionally: Carry, lift, push and reach up to 30 lbs.
• Occasionally: Work at heights no greater than 40'

• Comfortable working in a cold storage facility, including temperatures below 34°F and occasionally below zero.
• Must wear comfortable, closed‑toe shoes and follow all safety requirements.
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and evenings as business needs require

• Fast‑paced, temperature‑controlled warehouse environment with exposure to cold, noise, and moving equipment
