Job summary

RealCold is seeking a Warehouse Lead Team Member to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate picking, packing, shipping, and receiving while upholding safety standards. You will lead and develop staff, drive productivity, and collaborate with leadership to meet service levels.

Responsibilities include training new hires, enforcing safety rules, coaching staff, and coordinating with Operations Leadership to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of distribution/warehouse management experience.
• Experience in a cold storage facility a plus.
• Experience with several types of equipment including forklift, pallet jack and high reach forklift.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

• Be able to multitask i.e., ensuring pickers are staying on task while also providing the line with necessary materials.
• Perform assigned projects as instructed.

Role Overview:

Work Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be flexible and be able to work overtime.
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Dress code is relaxed with a few rules to follow for safety; comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.

Works in a cold storage facility with exposure to low to below zero temperatures. This job may involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as dust, noise, etc. Accidents are improbable other than minor injuries. Environment may be fast paced at times. You will be working around moving machines – order pickers and forklifts.

• Prolonged periods of walking through a cold warehouse environment below 34 degrees for up to 8 to 10 hours daily.
• Ability to walk through warehouse for up to 8 to 10 hours per shift.
• Must be able to maintain attention for long periods of time with constant interruptions
• Ability to lift over 30lbs multiple times a day
