Job summary

Meyer Distributing in Jasper, IN, is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide a 10-person crew and ensure on-time transfer trailer departures with high quality. The role emphasizes servant leadership, delegation, and zone supervision across a broad Meyer Logistics network.

Pay is up to $25/hr based on experience with rotating Fridays and Saturdays, and schedules include 10:30 am–8:30 pm weekdays and 9:00 am–6:00 pm Saturdays. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Ability to work up to 25 feet above ground level.
• Comfortable with heights and physically active.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Tier-1 team huddle.
• Present daily reports and metrics for the Tier-2 huddle.
• Ensure the assigned zone is set up correctly before shift start.
• Ensure the zone is clean at the end of every shift.
• Manage the team to disperse and stack skids with product.
• Maintain 5S scores and develop SOPs.
• Train team on process changes and document updates.
• Lead team to achieve on-time dispatch and related metrics.
• Oversee bin management and inventory checks.
