Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Warehouse Lead to assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operations and staff leadership. You will train and evaluate personnel, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvements across processes.

You will manage shifts 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday through Friday, in a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay and benefits including retirement and stock purchase programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 3 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in noisy, non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs the daily activities of warehouse teammates to ensure the safe and successful completion of all related daily warehouse activities and operations.
• Verifies and ensures all applicable warehouse processes are followed including, but not limited to, the processes for handling damaged product check-in, etc., while handling any specific areas of responsibility as assigned by the Warehouse Manager and, or Supervisor(s)
• Trains and leads Warehouse Personnel and evaluates processes striving for continuous improvements
• Communicates with Warehouse Management and Warehouse Personnel as it relates to identified process improvements, personnel improvements, quality, Out-of-Stocks (OOS), etc.
• Leads and models the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures
• Supports, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective on‑the‑job coaching and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
• Assists in interviewing potential candidates and influences and advises management on performance management matters. May perform other duties as assigned.
