Job Description

Custom Truck One Source has an opening for Warehouse Lead with a background in heavy and light duty trucks and equipment. This position requires a high degree of safety, accuracy, and productivity, as well as previous warehouse and/or parts experience. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for managing the parts inventory to ensure count and location accuracy, overseeing all warehouse functions (shipping, receiving, parts counter), providing direction and support throughout each day, while also performing daily tasks assigned to the Warehouse Lead.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Assist in completing all daily warehouse functions.
  2. Oversee and monitor the activity and productivity of all warehouse associates.
  3. Report inventory shortages, overages, and defective products in a timely manner.
  4. Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies and discuss with management if not found.
  5. Work with management to determine the root cause to prevent future incidents.
  6. Recommend improvements focusing on accuracy and organization.
  7. Ensure all inventory is properly labeled with part numbers.
  8. Ensure physical location of items and system locations match.
  9. Responsible for keeping the warehouse and outside storage organized and clean.
  10. Report maintenance on all parts equipment to management. Perform daily forklift maintenance checks before each shift.
  11. Perform city deliveries and/or pickups in company vehicle as needed.
  12. Follow all safety regulations and report safety concerns promptly.
  13. Miscellaneous projects as assigned.
  14. Other duties as assigned.
