Capital Electric, a member of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Lead to manage logistics operations at our Maryland facility. You will oversee delivery/receipt, shipping coordination, stock control and daily workflow in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

We require 1–3 years of leadership experience, strong knowledge of shipping/receiving practices, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of shipping/receiving practices.
• Merchandise handling and production methods.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.
• Experience with heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Delivery/receipt and/or shipping schedule management.
• Instruct warehouse staff on safe operation of equipment and processes.
• Assign workloads and manage staffing levels.
• Maintain harmony and resolve grievances among workers.
• Keep employees informed of company news and provide feedback.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Know stock location and plan layout of storage areas.
• Identify slow-moving or excess stock and recommend actions.
• Review records for accuracy and procedures compliance.
• Communicate with customers and sales to address service issues.
• Multi-task and prioritize daily tasks.
