Qualifications

• 5 years of warehouse experience
• 2 years of leadership/supervisor experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge of inventory management systems (barcode, AS400)
• Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication with customers and brokers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping priorities and schedules based on notices, bills of lading, and orders.
• Supervise outgoing shipments ensuring accuracy and condition of goods.
• Determine space allocation and truck loading positions.
• Plan routes and comply with weight limits for states.
• Inspect loading operations for compliance with specs.
• Enter shipment data into the computer system.
• Issue instructions and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.
• Address errors and customer/broker complaints promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and PPE usage.
• Cross-train in other facility roles as needed.
