Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Warehouse Lead in Murfreesboro, TN. This hands-on leadership role oversees receiving, order picking, packaging, shipping, and inventory while ensuring safety and accuracy.

You’ll train and motivate the team, coordinate with other departments, and support 5S in a fast-paced distribution environment. Qualified candidates have 2+ years in warehousing and a lead/supervisory background; forklift certification and WMS experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
• Lead, shift lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified; WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily shipping, receiving, order picking, packaging, and inventory activities.
• Train, coach, and motivate warehouse associates while reinforcing policies and procedures.
• Review, prioritize, and organize outgoing orders to meet daily shipping deadlines.
• Assist with inventory control, safety programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with warehouse management and other departments to resolve operational and personnel-related issues.
• Lead by example by loading and unloading trucks and providing hands-on support during peak periods.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment and support 5S standards throughout the warehouse.
