Job summary

OFS is seeking a Warehouse Lead/Inventory Control Specialist for Plant 1. This role emphasizes attention to detail, urgency, and strong work ethic, with the ability to train and assist fellow employees.

Responsibilities include processing jobs, maintaining inventory accuracy, overseeing receiving and material placement, and supporting production goals while upholding safety guidelines. Oracle OS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Basic computer and typing skills required.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Understanding the importance of maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Ability to work with other plant departments to reach common goals.

Responsibilities

• Process jobs and reorders with supply plants and outside vendors.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Oversee receiving and placement of materials.
• Assist supervisor and warehouse staff with daily tasks.
• Enforce policies and procedures in line with safety guidelines.
• Assist in meeting production goals.
• Improve production efficiencies and overall quality.
