Warehouse Lead (Inventory)

Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product onto trailers and prepare documentation (bill of lading and invoice).

Essential Functions
  • Complete all essential functions of the Warehouse Associate position.
  • Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members.
  • Manage communication flow for loading finished products onto trailers.
  • Communicate instructions to equipment inside the warehouse.
  • Coordinate trailer loading locations.
  • Prepare documentation for purchase orders (Bill of Lading and invoice).
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure timely collection and/or loading of finished products.
  • Review operator and carrier data in the Tracking Platform.
  • Maintain food safety practices and all applicable SQF System requirements.
  • Report any deviations, problems, or abnormalities with equipment, processes, or products.
  • Perform any other tasks deemed reasonable and safe by the manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • 4 years of experience managing people or projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in the field or similar environment.
  • 6 years of experience in the position.
  • 6 years of experience managing people/projects.

Additional Information:

  • Travel is not required for this position.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of storage systems.
