Job summary

Mattress Firm Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to guide a team of warehouse associates in daily tasks such as receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.

You will ensure safe operations and deliver world-class service while coordinating with internal teams. The role requires strong supervision, communication, and problem-solving skills, with at least 1 year of warehouse experience and a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years warehouse experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and accuracy in task execution.
• Ability to manage time efficiently to complete work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate to a team of warehouse associates to complete daily department tasks.
• Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
• Stage deliveries and maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure accuracy of vendor shipments and perform inventory counts.
• Provide exceptional customer service for pickups and internal partners.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, offices, and docks.
• Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.
• Complete required training and follow safety policies.
