Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler Lead in Lemont, IL to maintain warehouse area, ensure proper staging and loading of shipments, and oversee forklift safety.

Reports to shift supervisor and will work Mon–Fri, 3:30 PM–12:30 AM, with opportunities for growth through incentive programs. Responsibilities include receiving, staging, and packing inventory, using WMS/QMS with RF scanners, and ensuring accuracy of orders while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a warehouse environment.
• Good stable work and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Properly receive, unload, move, and tag incoming parts and equipment.
• Use WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and QMS (Quality Management Systems); operate material handling equipment and use an RF scanner.
• Pull and stage parts for production and complete requisitions for parts shortages.
• Collect and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.
• Comply with the company’s safety policies while using lifting devices (forklifts and scissor lifts) and maintain clean initiative standards.
• Learn day‑to‑day warehouse operations.
• Verify orders are complete and accurate.
• Pick each customer order in the most effective manner possible to minimize shipping costs and insure product safety.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
