Job Description

The Rack Store team is seeking an organized and self-motivated Warehouse Lead/Forklift Operator to operate independently at our Utah satellite facility, reporting remotely to our Hub Warehouse Manager. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, takes initiative, and has strong follow-through.The Warehouse Lead/Forklift Operator will be expected to complete a paid training period of up to 3 weeks at our California hubbefore taking ownership of the local satellite in West Valley City.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments; verify accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Safely unload and load freight using a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory using our ERP system.
• Organize and stock materials, including steel pallet racking and accessories.
• Pick, package, and ship outgoing orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Communicate with the California headquarters on scheduling, materials, and issues.
• Provide feedback and suggest improvements to optimize operations.

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of warehouse experiencerequired; experience with pallet racking or industrial material handling strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred (we will certify qualified candidates).
• Comfortable using computers or tablets for inventory and order management.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance and operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Strong organizational skills, accountability, and problem-solving mindset.
• Willing to travel to California for training before taking ownership of the UT site.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Basic mechanical or fabrication skills helpful but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
