Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to guide a fast-paced warehouse team in Kansas City. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and accuracy in order fulfillment and delivery preparation.

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, receiving and unloading shipments, picking and staging orders, and providing excellent customer service on the shop floor. Forklift operation and lifting heavy materials are required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse leadership experience and ability to supervise a team.
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift 75-100 pounds minimum and operate a forklift safely.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the warehouse team.
• Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse operations area.
• Respond to calls from the sales floor promptly and professionally.
• Complete pick ticket orders and unload/receive deliveries.
• Pull and stage orders for each company delivery truck.
• Assist with loading/unloading duties on a daily basis as assigned.
• Provide customer service and ensure loads are secure for delivery.
• Operate forklifts safely and responsibly; support delivery functions as needed.
