Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee shift activities and ensure alignment with warehouse targets and company standards.

You will coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor, Distribution Center Manager and Director of Operations, supervise Warehouse Associates, monitor safety, and ensure accurate daily shipments and inventory movements. Shift: 10:30am to 7:00pm. Compensation begins at $22.50 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree.
• High level of attention to details to meet quality standards.
• 3 or more years of Warehouse Experience (Picking/Packing/Shipping)
• Willingness and ability to different work shifts.
• Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position; standing for 4 or more hours at a time and ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Stand-up and/or Sit-Down Forklift Experience; certified preferred.
• Professional-Level English language skills preferred

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the oversight to shift activities in alignment with warehouse targets and company standards.
• This role coordinates with Warehouse Supervisor, Distribution Center Manager and Director of Operations to avoid downtime and to meet delivery schedules.
• The Warehouse Lead is responsible for ensuring accuracy of daily shipments, training new associates, assisting with cross training existing associates, ensuring correct inventory transactions and movement.
• The person in this role is also responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Supervises the activity of Warehouse Associates.
• Interacts with departmental managers to coordinate warehouse operations requirements and staff scheduling.
• Partner with Distribution Center Manager and HSE Supervisor to ensure a safe work environment.
• Conduct cycle count process and inventory transactions.
• Audit outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and notify Warehouse Supervisor regarding any potential discrepancies.
• Root cause analysis for inventory errors.
• Ensure 5S throughout warehouse.
• Coordinates and monitors the fulfillment of all legal and internal requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment.
• Leads by example and line with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct, while fostering a proactive work culture.
