Essential duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for opening and closing the shift on a daily basis.
  2. Print and assign routes to employees to begin operations.
  3. Oversee all warehouse employees’ functions.
  4. Ensure adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) with all warehouse employees.
  5. Follow quality assurance procedures, including product rotation and cycle counts.
  6. Manage the picking and loading of all products in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain cleanliness of cooler and freezer aisles, dock areas, and the overall premises.
  8. Communicate with customers and clients regarding delivery issues or order discrepancies.
  9. Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  10. Follow procedures to address potential theft of products.
  11. Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
  12. Reduce financial losses from damaged products.
  13. Oversee proper labeling of all products and report discrepancies.
  14. Inspect work equipment for shortages and damages, reporting findings for resolution.
  15. Ensure equipment (electric pallet jacks, forklifts, scanners) are charged and operational.
  16. Serve as Warehouse Supervisor in their absence.
  17. Ensure products leave the warehouse in good condition.
  18. Maintain discipline in the working environment.
  19. Prevent trucks from leaving with missing or extra products.
  20. Cover for absent employees as needed.
  21. Coordinate emergency evacuations when necessary.
  22. Handle hazardous spills safely.
  23. Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in administration, retail, merchandising, supply chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
  • 2-3 years of experience in warehousing or supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and directing skills.
  • Understanding of finance, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and legal procedures for handling goods.
  • Effective time management and deadline adherence.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
