Job summary

Gold Star in New York is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate inventory control, and maintain safety protocols for a dairy feed operation. You will optimize workflow, coordinate with receiving and logistics teams, manage storage systems, and drive a culture of safety and accountability across shifts.

This role requires leading a team on rotating shifts, training staff, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in feed milling, agriculture, food production, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, and other mill equipment (certification a plus).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, storage, and dispatching of dairy feed products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement and monitor inventory control procedures, including stock rotation and loss prevention.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, complying with safety and hygiene standards.
• Track inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and oversee quality checks.
• Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation, including inventory reports and incident logs.
• Collaborate with receiving, operations, logistics, and production teams to ensure seamless product flow.
