Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a Warehouse Leader in Savannah to guide our donated goods distribution hub. You will supervise the warehouse team, safeguard donated items, and coordinate operations to ensure efficient processing of goods.

The role emphasizes training, process control, and equipment maintenance, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Box Truck experience required.
• Driving record in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and efficiently process all donated goods within a Donated Goods distribution hub.
• Supervise, coordinate, schedule, inspect, and approve the work of hub Warehouse associates.
• Ensure all assigned associates are properly trained.
• Establish and enforce process control procedures.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and that tools/equipment are maintained on a regular schedule.

Job description

As a Warehouse Leader for Goodwill, you will lead our warehouse team by safeguarding and processing all donated goods within our distribution hub.

Your Impact:

• Safeguarding and efficiently processing all donated goods within a Donated Goods distribution hub
• Supervising, coordinating, scheduling, inspecting, and approving the work of hub Warehouse associates.
• Ensuring that all assigned associates are properly trained.
• Establishing a process control procedures are adhered to and maintained.
• Making certain that all equipment is functioning properly and ensuring that all tools and equipment are repaired and are on a regularly scheduled maintenance plan.

Your Qualifications:

• Ability to handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting and moving merchandise up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs, with or without accommodations.
• High School Graduate/GED.
• Supervisory experience of 1 year, preferably in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Box Truck experience required
• Driving record in good standing
