Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00/hr. (Plus OT as required)
Mayflower is seeking an experiencedfull-time Warehouse Leadfor our afternoon shift. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor, supporting a team of approximately 65-70 employees engaged in picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and production work. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. The Warehouse Lead is expected to best use resources to aid in the achievement of operational goals and tasks.
Duties/Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely completion of all necessary forms as it relates to production items, such as Building of Materials (BOM) / Work In Progress (WIP).
- Lead and support daily operations for assigned warehouse zones, such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, production.
- Provide hands-on guidance and support to warehouse associates to ensure productivity and quality goals are met.
- Monitor workflow and assign tasks to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely shipments.
- Serve as key point of contact for resolving employee questions, issues, and concerns on the floor.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and procedures.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
- Complete documentation and reporting related to shift performance, safety incidents, or operational issues.
- Operate material handling equipment as required (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, with role.
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures including picking, packing, shipping/receiving, and inventory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to motivate, lead, and develop a team.
- Comfortable using warehouse management systems (WMS and ERPs).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.

This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week and frequent overtime.
Wage is commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.
