Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring a Lead Warehouse Associate in the United States. The role oversees handling of customer products, loading/unloading, assigning work, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. You will guide warehouse personnel, complete records, and assist in maintaining quality service.

The position emphasizes leadership, safety, and teamwork to meet customer needs, with competitive benefits and weekly pay. Prior WMS and forklift credentials are valued.

Qualifications

  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse.
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assign tasks to warehouse personnel through written/oral instruction, including unloading, outbound staging and loading, verification and labeling of freight.
  • Supervise tasks performed by warehouse personnel.
  • Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report to maintenance.
  • Advise associates on care and preservation of product and equipment handling.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service through assisting associates in warehouse functions when help is needed.
  • Maintain safety and productivity by addressing improper procedures with staff.
  • Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
  • Adhere to safety policies and site guidelines to ensure safe conditions.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
