    Primary Responsibilities

    The Warehouse Team Lead monitors work flow in assigned zones to ensure timely, accurate completion of daily jobs within warehouse. Receive, store, and distribute material and products within the distribution center.

    Essential Functions
    • Supervises Team members on the production floor to ensure order accuracy, drives productivity and enforce safety and housekeeping.
    • Communicate issues and actions taken with Warehouse Manager daily.
    • Assist and/or make assignments for the day-to-day work flow, filling in where needed.
    • Lead and assist in developing employees to achieve desired results and maximize their potential.
    • Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, and/or requisition to determine items to be moved or distributed.
    • Other duties and special projects as requested.
    • Must maintain good attendance.
    • Maintain safe work practices.
    • Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • A minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse atmosphere, including receiving, pulling orders, packing and shipping required.
    • Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.) required.
    • Valid driver's license required.

    Qualifications / Additional Skills /Aptitude:

    • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
    • Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
    • Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.
    • Results-oriented and the ability to motivate and inspire confidence in others, as well as develop relationships.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and goals, as well as establish and maintain effective work relationships.

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a cooler, freezer temperature. The associate is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate to high.
