Job summary

Maersk Valencia is seeking a Warehouse Associate Lead in Valencia, CA to oversee a small team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, maintaining safety and accuracy, and guiding Warehouse Agent 1 and 2 through daily tasks.

The position runs 4:00 am–12:30 pm, with Mondays and Tuesdays off and weekends required. Applicants should be proficient with RF scanning, lifting 50+ lbs, and communicating in English.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years prior warehouse lead experience.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Experience using a RF scan gun required.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed and weekend.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well.
• Must have ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team and delegate tasks to Warehouse Agent 1 and 2.
• Load/unload materials using hand truck, reach truck or forklift.
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work are completed accurately.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift and pallet jacks.
• Train and help Warehouse Agent 1 and 2 with daily tasks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure safe and secure work environment following TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
