Job summary

Reach Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide a team of Warehouse Associates and ensure daily operations run smoothly at our facility. You will oversee task execution, provide on-the-job training, and serve as the main communication link between staff and management.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a warehouse environment, a high school diploma or GED, and a forklift certification is preferred. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A current forklift certification is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to guide and motivate a team.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory scanning technology.

Responsibilities

• Assign and delegate daily tasks to warehouse staff, monitoring progress to meet receiving, picking, and shipping goals.
• Provide direct, hands-on training and mentorship to new and existing team members on proper procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the team, addressing questions, resolving immediate issues, and escalating complex problems to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Operate a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to assist with a wide range of warehouse tasks.
• Conduct regular quality checks on packed orders and inventory to maintain accuracy and prevent shipping errors.
• Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure and productive work environment.

Physical Demands
