A Brief Overview

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols. This role involves leading and training warehouse staff and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

What you will do

1. Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping products to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
2. Collaborate with Production to ensure manufacturing needs are met.
3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting safety training and regular inspections of the warehouse.
4. Train, mentor, and provide guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting best practices in safety and operations.
5. Complete Inventory counts as assigned by a supervisor.
6. Assist in implementation of warehouse procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
7. Resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shipment errors.
8. Act as a back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor during their absence and as an emergency contact.
9. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.
10. Some duties may vary by location.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience Qualifications

• 1-3 years in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field (Required)
• 1-3 years leadership experience (Preferred)

• Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles. (High proficiency)
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage daily operations effectively. (High proficiency)
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications. (High proficiency)
