Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Warehouse Specialist Team Lead for the 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm shift. This role leads warehousing staff, oversees storage, packing, and shipment preparation, and ensures accurate material handling per the storage plan.

The position is not-to-exceed 30 June 2027 and may require travel or clearance as needed. Responsibilities include assigning daily tasks, verifying materials, and addressing discrepancies while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six to twelve months job related experience and/or training is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
• Position may require travel.
• Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan.
• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials, examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage.
• Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Verify materials against receiving documents, note discrepancies and damages; route materials to storage locations; store or palletize material.
• Make detailed work allocations as instructed by the supervisor and/or customer maintenance representative.
• Responsible for furnishing sufficient and accurate information to employees working under his direction.
• Interpret information, answer questions, review, check/inspect work, and eliminate ordinary difficulties.

• Perform all other position related duties as assigned.
