Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Warehouse Specialist Team Lead for the Warehouse 2nd Shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm MT). The role includes leading storage personnel, ensuring efficient material flow, and coordinating shipping/receiving tasks.

The Lead supports the supervisor, performs warehousing duties, and helps manage inventory according to storage plans. Proximity to US government contracts may require security clearance and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six to twelve months job related experience and/or training required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
• Position may require travel.
• Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing duties that require understanding of the storage plan.
• Rearrange and inventory stored materials; report deterioration/damage.
• Remove material from storage and prepare for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in warehousing duties.
• Verify materials against receiving documents; route to storage; palletize material.
• Make detailed work allocations as instructed by supervisor and/or customer maintenance representative.
• Provide sufficient and accurate information to employees under direction.
• Interpret information, answer questions, review, check/inspect work, and resolve issues.

• Lead Person does not supervise hire/fire or discipline decisions; perform other duties as assigned.
