Job summary

Dexter is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead for the Springfield Distribution Center to guide daily operations, ensure accurate picking/packing, and maintain safety standards in a busy warehouse environment. This hands-on leadership role supports receiving, storage, and inventory control while meeting production and shipping schedules.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, leadership experience, and familiarity with WMS and RF scanners.

• 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Prior lead or senior associate experience preferred.
• Familiar with WMS and RF scanners.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse associates during assigned shifts.
• Prioritize and assign tasks including picking, packing, loading, receiving, and replenishment.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate shift updates and collaborate with supervisors.
