POSITION SUMMARY

Team Lead is responsible for assisting with various warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving goods. Supports the Management Team with daily warehouse operations, manages a team of associates, and ensures efficient operations to meet business targets. Provides team management, coordinates workloads, supports team performance, monitors issues, and ensures production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are achieved to satisfy customer requirements. Develops the team by focusing on individual performance and support needs, fostering a culture of safety.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

1. Partner to ensure all picking/shipping deadlines and priority cut-off times are met.
2. Review daily pick errors with pickers.
3. Ensure all waves are printed, distributed, and picked to meet deadlines while maintaining FIFO.
4. Identify special instructions on pick tickets to comply with sales requests.
5. Research to locate products and prevent backorders.
6. Attract and retain qualified, motivated workforce; foster new ideas for improvements.
7. Develop direct reports through coaching and cross-training; document progress.
8. Track and maintain productivity standards; assess staff, supplies, and equipment needs.
9. Maintain a clean and safe work area; secure building at shift end.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
11. Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
12. Oversee daily operations.
13. Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
14. Motivate team members.
15. Identify training needs and provide coaching.
16. Address team feedback and resolve issues.
17. Recognize and reward high performance.

Physical/Visual Activities or Demands

Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, and lift packages up to 50 lbs.

Position Qualification Requirements

Education/Experience:

• College Degree Preferred
• 1+ years related warehouse experience

• Experience with Manhattan WMS/SAP preferred
