Job description

Partner with Operations Leadership to ensure all warehouse functions are completed efficiently. Assign work to warehouse associates to meet company and customer standards for service, quality, safety, and productivity.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Plan, assign, and supervise the work of warehouse associates within a designated area.
  2. Report defective or damaged products and follow up with appropriate corrective actions promptly.
  3. Manage warehouse associate responsibilities such as loading, unloading, forklift operation, and product relocation.
  4. Conduct and document daily inspections, including equipment and inbound/outbound trailer inspections.
  5. Verify inbound/outbound shipments for compliance, report discrepancies in quantity or quality.
  6. Maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service departments.
  7. Coach and provide feedback to warehouse associates.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complete assigned projects as instructed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage, wearing company-provided PPE and gear.
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kg, with potential for heavier loads depending on the facility.
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends if necessary.
  • Comfortable with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.
