Job summary

R.J. Schinner Co., Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead for our Aurora, CO facility. The role oversees shipping/receiving with the warehouse team and coordinates with the Operations Manager to ensure proper procedures are followed until completion.

The position requires 2–3 years of distribution warehouse and forklift experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

• Verify inventory levels with system cycle counts vs physical counts.

Warehouse Lead Summary

Full-time, Monday - Friday | 1st Shift, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, or until completion.

This a hands-on Lead works alongside the warehouse shipping and receiving team, and ensures proper procedures and disciplines are being followed or documented. The Warehouse Lead works closely with our Operations Manager.

Warehouse Lead Qualifications

• 2-3 years of previous distribution warehouse experience
• 2-3 years of forklift experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• High degree of attention required
• Ability to perform light to heavy physical tasks; able to lift 50 lbs. safely
• Ability to proficiently operate a variety of powered industrial trucks
• Must be dependable, reliable, and use equipment safely and sensibly
• Comfortable with exposure to environmental conditions (e.g., heat/cold; noise and dust),
• Comfortable with heights (25'-30')

Warehouse Responsibilities

• Maintains other shipping records such as returned merchandise, damage, discrepancies, etc.
• Responsible for care in handling merchandise
• Establish an appropriate rapport with customers, vendors, and delivery drivers
• Responsible for performing operations and safety check, (including battery, brakes & lift controls), on all powered industrial trucks
• Recommend equipment needs and repairs
• Verify inventory levels with system cycle counts against physical countsTransport merchandise from daily inbound receipts to appropriate locations
• Replenish warehouse pick locations to capacity
• Load outbound carriers
• Observe and comply with all workplace safety procedures and measures, including immediately documenting any unsafe acts, conditions, or accidents

Preferred Qualifications

• Eclipse Warehouse Management System experience
