Job summary

RJ Schinner Co. is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor in Menomonee Falls, WI. This full-time role supervises all 1st shift activities, ensuring accurate picking, shipments and proper handling of merchandise.

Reports to the Warehouse Manager and works Monday–Friday with a 6:30am–3:00pm schedule, or until completion. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in warehouse operations and 2–3 years in inventory control, with strong attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years warehouse operations experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of inventory control and SKU management experience.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Able to perform light to heavy physical tasks; able to lift 50 lbs. safely.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates performance of direct reports.
• Ensures accuracy and documentation of all outbound shipments.
• Performs operations and safety checks on all powered industrial trucks.
• Promotes and enforces workplace safety protocol for department/branch.
• Provides training on processes and procedures for 1st shift employees.
• Communicates business plans and departmental goals and objectives.
• Other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Warehouse Supervisor Summary

Full-time | Monday – Friday 1st Shift | 6:30am – 3:00 pm, or until completion

Superintends all 1st shift warehouse activities and employees. Ensures accurate picking, shipments, and appropriate handling of merchandise. Familiar with a variety of distribution center concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications

• Minimum 3 yearswarehouse operations experience or equivalent

• Collaborates with all levels within the organization
• Proficiently operates a variety of powered industrial trucks
• Comfortable with exposure to environmental conditions (e.g. heat/cold; noise, dust)
• Comfortable with heights (25’-30’)
