Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Warehouse Lead for its Wilmington facility to supervise a small team, ensure on-time material flow, and collaborate with cross-functional groups. This hands-on role combines leadership with SAP EWM expertise and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) offers opportunities to optimize repairs, manage inventory, and drive KPIs using SAP reporting and MS Excel in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Two+ years experience in warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics.
  • Strong experience in SAP EWM with hands-on SAP transactions.
  • Proven experience handling UPS shipping transactions for RMA materials and parts.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP reporting and MS Excel to track KPIs.
  • Leadership skills to mentor a warehouse team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in SAP transactions.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot SAP issues, coordinating with technical experts as needed.
  • Manually pick small parts and sub-assemblies for repair operations and customer orders.
  • Execute bin-to-bin transfers using SAP S/4 Hana EWM.
  • Ensure work accuracy and adherence to production, repair, quality, and safety standards.
  • Handle UPS shipping transactions for RMA materials and parts needing repair.
  • Process SAP fulfillment and receiving transactions: Customer Sales Orders, STOs, Inbound RMA Sales Orders.
  • Complete Inbound Deliveries for RMA material transactions.
  • Use SAP reporting and MS Excel to track KPIs and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material transport, replenishment, and stacking up to 46 feet high.
  • Load/unload bots to/from trailers and storage using pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Prepare bots for shipment, record serial numbers, and wrap containers.
  • Handle shipping/receiving transactions for RMA and repaired bots in SAP.
  • Coordinate with logistics for truck shipments.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

What we need

Symboticis seeking a Warehouse Lead who will serve as the subject matter expert on allfacetsof warehouse operations, including material handling, shipping, and receiving. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. As a Lead Warehouse Specialist, you will oversee daily activities, provide guidance to team members, and collaborate with various departments to meet operational goals. You will also play a hands‑on role in ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

This is a 2nd shift position with a schedule of 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.

What we do

The Warehouse team within the Service Center of Excellenceis responsible forservice, repair, testing, evaluation, and field support.They manage shipping, receiving, and materialhandling for materialin theSymboticWilmington location.They primarilyfocus ison supporting repair and service material needs to support customer service requirements. The warehouse team collaborates closely with other departments to support shipping/receiving needs and to ensure material movement transactions are accurate.

Whatyou’llneed

  • Strong experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), with hands‑on experience managing transactions for Customer Sales Orders, STOs, Inbound RMA Sales Orders, and Inbound Deliveries.
  • Proven experience handling UPS shipping transactions for RMA materials and parts requiring repair.
  • Strongproficiencyin SAP reporting and MSExcel totrack KPIs and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a warehouse team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in processing shipments and SAP transactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving discrepancies and system‑related issues.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
Our Environment
  • There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure. You maybe requiredto routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure.
  • You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground.
  • Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. Must be capable of working in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
  • AT times you may be at a construction site with PPErequired(hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness).
  • Frequent ability tosafely and efficiently lift items weighingup to 50lbs and move items weighing up to 80lbs.
  • Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and isfrequentlyrequiredto walk and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employeeis routinely required towork at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. Where you may need to be able to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be capable of occasional and/or continuous feeling, seeing, hearing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, balancing, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects, and repetitive movement using both hands and feet. Mustcomply withall safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocols.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $25.96 - $35.96 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
