Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Warehouse Lead will ensure shipping, receiving and warehouse inventory activities are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Assist plant leadership with coordinating activities of Team Members engaged in various functions within the warehouse, utilizing knowledge of shipping, receiving and warehouse functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and material handling
  • Pull, pack, skid, crate, and prepare materials and products to meet order and quality specifications
  • Coordinate transportation needs, including obtaining freight quotes and working with approved carriers
  • Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Prioritize and delegate work assignments to meet on-time delivery and customer satisfaction goals
  • Act as a working lead and backup for all warehouse roles as needed
  • Identify errors, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Help develop, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures and work instructions
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift and industrial equipment certifications
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team goals

Preferred:

  • Prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP systems and barcode scanning technology
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and use hand and power tools
