The warehouse environment centers on receiving, securing, staging, and deploying sensitive, rolling Government Furnished Property (GFP), Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), and multi‑million‑dollar shipboard C4I electronic suites and installation kits.

Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse task allocation, supervise warehouse specialists, enforce strict DoD property standards, and coordinate transport/staging of mission‑critical materials to local naval installations and shipyards.

  • Daily Floor Supervision: Direct daily warehouse operations, assign workflows to warehouse specialists, manage staging priorities, and ensure accountability across all shifts.
  • Government Property Administration: Oversee the cradle‑to‑grave handling, tagging, securing, and tracking of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE/GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) in strict accordance with defense property standards and FAR 52.245‑1 guidelines.

  • Military Documentation: Direct and verify military shipping/transfer documentation, including DD Form 1149s, DD Form 250s, material inspection receipts, and property transfer logs.
  • Inventory Control & Auditing: Conduct regular rolling cycle counts, lead quarterly GFP/CAP physical inventories, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records across inventory control systems (DPAS/ERP).
  • Material Movement & Base Delivery: Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stackers) and coordinate ground transport/deliveries to naval bases and shipyards across Hampton Roads (e.g., NOB Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard).
