Job summary

iDC Logistics Inc. in Perris, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to supervise dock personnel and ensure accurate, on-time shipments.

You will lead forklift drivers and warehouse staff, coordinate with transportation providers, and report on KPIs while maintaining health and safety standards. The role requires a High School Diploma, at least 2 years in operations or logistics with 1 year of supervisory experience, and proficiency with warehouse management systems and Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the picking, staging, and shipping operations for our key clients.

  • Oversee and be accountable for shipping/outbound KPIs.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Accounts and Support functions to report on key issues as they relate to the position.
  • Ensure compliance to all Health and Safety legislation/guidelines for self and staff at all times and carry out internal health and safety audits as and when requested.
  • Provide warehouse management with end of day/shift handover information.
  • Execute any other duties as and when identified.

2nd Shift

Position Summary

The Warehouse Lead, responsible for leading all dock personnel, assists supervisors with managing day-to-day activity of the dock as well as integrity of freight and warehouse operations. Controlling and maintaining all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments is also required. The Warehouse Lead must work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments and delegate work to all dock personnel.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of operations or logistics experience, ideally in a shipping/receiving capacity
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team-oriented workforce
  • A working understanding of warehouse management systems
  • Proven experience managing personnel to meet operational objectives
  • Strong at multitasking and task delegation
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and reporting using Excel or Google Sheets
Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.

  • Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
  • Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.
  • Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint Ability to multitask and coordinate multiple and often conflicting priorities.
  • Maintains an outgoing, positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required
