Job summary

Suburban Accessories, a leading distributor of OEM accessories and parts, is hiring a Warehouse Lead for our Ohio facility. You will offload inbound shipments, ensure quality checks, and manage stock against purchase orders, all while supporting a fast-paced warehouse team.

The role offers a stable schedule Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with competitive hourly pay and benefits. You will train and guide team members, participate in safety practices, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately offload inbound vendor trucks.
• Conduct quality control upon receipt.
• Receive products against purchase orders.
• Store/stock products per Dock to Stock standards to support efficient picking.
• Rotate and re-stock based on FIFO dates and stocking levels.
• Utilize restocking and forward-stocking practices.
• Practice powered industrial equipment safety and dock safety.
• Audit parts to verify delivery location.
• Label e-commerce orders for dealer delivery.
• Label LPO/DIO orders for dealer delivery.
• Participate in daily huddles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train for other roles within the warehouse to maximize efficiency.

As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for offloading inbound vendor products while checking for the quality and accuracy of the product as well as ensuring orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner. Product will be received against purchase orders and staged on shelves, floors, or racking lines to support efficient picking practices. The position includes assisting and training the team as needed.

Salary Overview

The pay rate for this role starts at $22-24 per hour based on experience.

The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

Warehouse Lead Responsibilities Include

• Accurately offload inbound vendor trucks.
• Conduct quality control upon receipt.
• Receive products against purchase orders.
• Accurately store/stock products in line with Dock to Stock expectations to support efficient picking practices.
• Rotate and re-stock based on FIFO dates and stocking levels as dictated by product type and stocking level.
• Utilize restocking and forward-stocking practices.
• Practice powered industrial equipment safety as well as general dock safety.
• Empty trash and cardboard accumulated throughout the warehouse.
• Manage the trouble table, where the product that could not be received is placed.
• Set up returns through UPS and other freight software.
• Pick orders utilizing RF unit and/or manual pick tickets.
• Stage orders on driver delivery shelves or the outbound staging bins.
• Load/unload bulk products onto driver trucks.
• Audit parts to verify the delivery location.
• Read invoices for any special notes.
• Keep products flowing efficiently and accurately through the outbound process.
• Label e-commerce orders for dealer delivery.
• Label LPO/DIO orders for dealer delivery.
• Conduct Cycle Counts as needed.
• Adhere to safety and quality control measures.
• Participate in annual physical inventory.
• Participate in daily huddles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train for other roles within the warehouse to maximize the efficiency of the team.
• Act as a go-to person in the warehouse for the warehouse teammates.
• Train/help onboard new hires to the team.

Warehouse Lead Working Conditions And Physical Demands Include

• This position is performed both inside a warehouse and outside so weather conditions may include extreme heat and cold.
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing all day.
• Must frequently lift and/or move items up to 100 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• 45% of the time you will be standing while working on vehicles, 30% of the time you will be sitting while working on vehicles, and 6% of the time working in cramped or confined spaces on vehicles.
