Job summary

Hit Promotional Products Inc. in Largo, FL is seeking a Warehouse Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations, coordinate with managers and drivers, and ensure accurate inventory and safe, efficient processes on the floor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision of warehouse floor activities, including stocking, order selecting, material handling, and dock unloading tasks.
  • Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety.
  • Train new and existing employees in collaboration with the Building Manager.
  • Identify and report personnel or process issues to the Building Manager and contribute to resolution efforts.
  • Interpret and utilize Vendor Stock Sheets, Stock Order Sheets, and Pull Tickets effectively.
  • Maintain organized pallet flow for stock and orders in designated locations.
  • Accountable for Inventory accuracy by ensuring adherence to data entry, stocking, and picking practices.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Managers, Clerks, and Forklift Drivers to facilitate product movement as necessary.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures established by management.
  • Communicate goals and tasks clearly to team members.
  • Monitor employee performance and development.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of all warehouse operations by supervising and directing team members to meet the objectives set forth by management.
