You will lead a team of clerks, maintain strict inventory control, optimize material flow, and uphold safety standards to drive production efficiency and on-time performance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily stockroom activities, train new staff, and assign tasks to ensure timely material distribution to production.
  • Oversee ERP/MRP transactions, conduct cycle counts, perform physical audits, and investigate discrepancies to maintain high accuracy.
  • Supervise the receiving, stocking, and staging of parts, ensuring materials are readily available for production schedules.
  • Ensure materials are labeled, packaged, and stored according to company and OSHA requirements.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain forklift certification.
  • Partner with production, purchasing, shipping, and quality departments to resolve shortages and optimize warehouse organization.
