Job summary

Alamo Group in Lake Wales, FL is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring accurate receiving, storing, and issuing of materials used to manufacture grapple trucks, knuckle boom loaders, and related equipment.

You will lead a team of clerks, maintain strict inventory control, optimize material flow, and uphold safety standards to drive production efficiency and on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily stockroom activities, train new staff, and assign tasks to ensure timely material distribution to production.
• Oversee ERP/MRP transactions, conduct cycle counts, perform physical audits, and investigate discrepancies to maintain high accuracy.
• Supervise the receiving, stocking, and staging of parts, ensuring materials are readily available for production schedules.
• Ensure materials are labeled, packaged, and stored according to company and OSHA requirements.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain forklift certification.
• Partner with production, purchasing, shipping, and quality departments to resolve shortages and optimize warehouse organization.
