Heritage Professionals Products - Warehouse Lead / Operations Associate

Heritage Professionals Products is seeking a self-motivated team player for the role of Warehouse Lead - Operations Associate. Experience in the landscape/irrigation industry is a plus.

We are looking for a service-oriented candidate knowledgeable in warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations. The Warehouse Lead/Operations Associate will work closely with the Branch Manager to lead the team with energy, professionalism, and urgency.

This role involves managing all aspects of inventory control, including purchasing, weekly cycle counts, pricing, review, and handling damaged or outdated stock. Additional responsibilities include order processing, day-end balancing, and supporting branch operations.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Professional interaction with employees, customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office is helpful.
• Supervision of drivers and warehouse operations, including guiding, assigning, and training personnel.
• Overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and loading/unloading.
• Managing truck dispatching for timely deliveries.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving environments with supervisory responsibilities.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Relevant purchasing and inventory management experience.
• Organized, detail-oriented, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Customer service and sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to develop lasting relationships.
• Knowledge of ERP systems; familiarity with Agility software is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background, driving record checks, and a pre-employment drug test.

Primary responsibilities include acting as the warehouse lead: order picking, receiving, stocking, cycle counts, forklift operation, loading/unloading trucks, customer interaction, and other warehouse functions.
