Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform daily warehouse tasks: receiving, picking, packing, staging, shipping, loading and unloading.
• Use pick sheets to accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment.
• Coordinate daily workflow with supervisors to meet priorities.
• Provide hands-on guidance and training to warehouse staff.
• Assist with inventory control and maintain accurate locations.
• Identify operational issues and collaborate on practical improvements.
• Complete required documentation and maintain records.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized warehouse areas.
• Support other warehouse functions as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and use proper assistance for heavy items.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the DC Manager, the Distribution/Warehouse Lead is a hands-on member of the warehouse team who performs daily operational tasks while supporting supervisors and teammates in keeping work organized, accurate, efficient, and safe. This position actively participates in receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory movement, and loading and unloading merchandise for stores and customers. The Lead works collaboratively with supervisors to help prioritize assignments, resolve day-to-day issues, and support the successful completion of warehouse work.

Essential Functions:

• Perform daily warehouse tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and loading and unloading merchandise.
• Use pick sheets and other order information to accurately pick, verify, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Support supervisors with coordinating daily workflow, communicating priorities, and helping the team complete assigned work on time.
• Provide hands-on guidance, training, and assistance to warehouse team members while remaining accountable for individual assigned tasks.
• Assist with inventory control, product movement, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory locations.
• Identify operational issues and work with supervisors and the DC Manager to recommend and implement practical solutions.
• Complete required operational documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work areas and assist with general facility upkeep.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures, use appropriate assistance for heavy or awkward items, and help reinforce safe work practices.
• Adapt to changing daily priorities and assist in other warehouse functions as needed to support team and business needs.
• Perform and ensure all tasks are completed in a safe manner according to company policies and standards

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experienced with inventory and warehouse practices
• 2+ Years warehouse experience
• Forklift certified
• Teamwork centered mindset.
• Proficient on computer and Microsoft Based programs
• Heavy lifting of items in excess of 200 pounds with group assistance
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to regularly bend and/or kneel
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work flexible schedules to accommodate peak season workflow, including nights and weekends;
• English fluency, written and verbal
• Must be able to communicate clearly and collaborative within our environment.

Budgeted range starts at: $20-$24/hour . Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
