Job description

Partner with Operations Leadership to ensure all warehouse functions are completed efficiently. Assign work to warehouse associates to meet company and customer standards for service, quality, safety, and productivity.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plan, assign, and supervise the work of warehouse associates within designated areas.
2. Report defective or damaged products and coordinate corrective actions promptly.
3. Manage warehouse associate responsibilities including loading, unloading, forklift operation, and product relocation.
4. Conduct and document daily inspections of equipment and inbound/outbound trailers.
5. Verify inbound and outbound shipments for compliance, and report discrepancies in quantity or quality.
6. Maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service departments.
7. Coach and provide feedback to warehouse associates.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

1. Complete assigned projects as instructed.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
3. Ability to work in cold temperatures as low as -20°F / -25°C and up to 100°F / 37°C while wearing appropriate PPE.
4. Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. / 18 kg; heavier weights may be required depending on the facility.
5. Flexible in work schedule, including weekends if necessary.
6. Comfortable with varying noise levels, which can be loud at times.
