Job summary

Position SummaryThe Warehouse Team Lead guides daily warehouse work and supports the team with shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, returns, and inventory accuracy. This role assigns tasks, trains staff, uses warehouse systems, and helps maintain a safe and organized operation.Key ResponsibilitiesAssign daily work, guide team members, monitor progress, and help complete tasks on time.Oversee shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and returns to keep work moving smoothly.Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical counts, and WMS or ERP records.Follow and reinforce warehouse safety procedures, including PPE and equipment inspections for pallet jacks and forklifts.Train new staff on warehouse procedures, policies, and safe equipment use.Communicate with supervisors and other departments to resolve issues and support daily operations.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required.3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling.SkillsFamiliarity with WMS or ERP software and Microsoft Excel and Word.Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts.Strong leadership, communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.Working ConditionsWork takes place mainly in a warehouse or manufacturing setting with moderate noise and machinery.Schedule may require overtime, weekends, or assigned shifts.Equal Employment OpportunityWe are an equal opportunity employer.
