Home Surplus in Maryland is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading, while maintaining accuracy and safety.

You will coach a small team, coordinate with Store Ops, and ensure ERP/WMS processes run smoothly; forklift certification and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.

This on-site role requires lifting up to 70 pounds and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the warehouse team's daily workflow, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading.
• Receive and put away incoming shipments — cabinets and vanities in cartons, windows, and boxed doors — and oversee others doing the same.
• Process receiving and order fulfillment efficiently within the ERP/WMS, ensuring inventory accuracy both physically and in the system.
• Provide friendly, timely, and accurate customer service in picking, packing, and loading orders, setting the standard for the team.
• Lead cycle counts and inventory control, ensuring accuracy and following up on discrepancies.
• Train new warehouse workers on processes, safety procedures, and equipment use.
• Serve as the point person for daily warehouse operations in the absence of the Store Operations Manager.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and help enforce safety protocols across the team.

• 3+ years warehouse experience required, with prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish fluency preferred.
