Job summary

VuWorks is seeking a Lead in the shipping department to guide operations, prepare products for shipment, and support the logistics team to meet deadlines. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and a strong service culture with on-time performance.

Responsibilities include supervising the department, training staff, transporting materials, picking/packing with RF scanners, and operating a stand-up forklift. Benefits start on day 1 for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in shipping and receiving.
• Minimum 2+ years operating a forklift.
• Minimum 1+ years in a lead role.
• Basic computer skills required.

Job description

Join our shipping and receiving team and use your previous knowledge to help guide the shipping department to success as a Lead in the department. Properly prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally. Execute standard procedures and assist logistics team to fulfill tasks on time, every time. Provide ideas on how to improve processes in a strong continuous improvement environment. Assist to build a best-in-class service culture by driving positive customer satisfaction. We offer a full benefits package that full-time employees are eligible for on day 1.

You Must Have

• 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
• 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
• 1+ years in a lead role
• Basic computer skills
