Job summary

Cirks Construction Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Worker Lead to oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, and safe operation of forklifts and trucks in the Arizona facility.

You will manage daily warehouse tasks, maintain records, and lead a team to ensure timely deliveries while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of warehousing or related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to obtain a state driver license and maintain a clean driving record.

Job description

The Warehouse Worker Lead is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products, materials, and equipment in Company’s warehouse facility. Handle shipping and receiving in an organized, accurate, and timely manner. This position is required to operate large vehicles and forklifts to move products around. This position needs to maintain and inspect the designated equipment and vehicles. The Warehouse Worker maintains a safe, organized, and clean warehouse at all times. Cirks Construction Inc. Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving inventory.
  • Maintains records of received inventory and communicates timely to the responsible construction personnel.
  • Reviews bills of lading for incoming shipments.
  • Responsible for inventorying products against packing lists.
  • Organizes, stores, and stages products for field distribution.
  • Assists with updating and providing accurate records of inventory.
  • Monitors inventory while keeping precise records of products stored or stocked.
  • Inspects and maintains for safety and mechanical upkeep of vehicles and forklifts.
  • Operates Company vehicle, forklift, and other warehouse tools and equipment.
  • Responsible for delivering products using moving vans, box trucks, flatbeds, and equipment trailers.
  • Travels as needed to complete deliveries to and from vendors or job sites.
  • Loads and unloads trucks and delivery vehicles using manual and motorized equipment.
  • Maintains a safe, organized, and clean working environment.
  • Responsible for working safely, adhering to all aspects of our Health, Safety, and Environmental Program for self-protection and protection of co-workers, sub-contractors, the public, and the client by supporting all Company safety efforts.
  • Performs administrative tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Leads team in daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks, conveyor equipment, and specific portions of a tractor-trailer and over-the-road trucks.
  • Keeps team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.
  • Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.
Education, Experience, and Skills
  • 1 - 3 years experience with related experience or equivalent.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of warehousing, storage, and distribution methods and procedures.
  • Experience with inspection and maintenance for vehicle and forklift safety.
  • Verified experience driving large vehicles (moving vans, box trucks, flatbeds).
  • Shipping and receiving experience, including checking bills of lading for incoming shipments and inventorying products against packing lists.
  • Experience organizing, storing, and staging product for field distribution.
  • Ability to become forklift certified.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Dependable team player with solid communication skills.
  • Planning, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Data entry, reporting, and documenting skills.
