Job description

We are now hiring for Warehouse Workers for a Manufacturing company in New Braunfels, TX. Please submit your resume to this posting and call our office at 830-629-2525.

Pay: $17/hr

Schedule:

  1. Monday-Friday 7:00 am-6:00 pm
  2. MUST be OK with working until 9:00 pm when needed & possible Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling:

  1. Safely load and unload lumber, building materials, and other products from trucks and shipping containers.
  2. Organize and store lumber products in an orderly and accessible manner, ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and easily identified.
  3. Move materials around the yard using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
  4. Ensure lumber and other materials are not damaged during handling or storage.

Inventory Management:

  1. Assist in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring the proper stock of materials.
  2. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate counts and report discrepancies.
  3. Assist with inventory audits and assist in cycle counts as directed.

Order Fulfillment:

  1. Prepare orders by picking, packing, and staging materials for delivery or customer pick-up.
  2. Ensure all customer orders are correct and complete.
  3. Assist in loading and unloading customer vehicles when required.

Quality Control:

  1. Inspect lumber and other materials for defects and damages.
  2. Ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications.
  3. Report damaged materials to management.

Safety & Cleanliness:

  1. Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, steel-toed boots, and safety vests.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including keeping the lumber yard and warehouse free from debris.
  3. Report safety hazards and maintenance needs to supervisors or management.
