Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Warehouse Laborer for a Sevierville, TN manufacturer.

Shift: 8:30pm – Finish (estimated finish time 7:15am). First day starts at 7:30pm for Food Safety Training. Mon–Thurs: Overnight openings. Duties include loading, wrapping, recording lot codes, processing shipment documents, operating stand-up forklifts, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Build and record outgoing orders to meet daily standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Wraps material loads with a wrapper and cleans the warehouse premises
• Record lot codes for tracking purposes
• Complete outgoing shipment documents accurately
• Operate standup forklifts and other powered warehouse equipment
• Time management: meet deadlines by organizing and completing work efficiently
• Report to supervisor any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or safety hazards
• Complete and monitor temperature logs daily
• Maintain best safety practices for equipment and personnel near equipment
• Perform routine pre- and post-inspections to ensure suitable working condition of forklift equipment
• All other duties as assigned

• Wrapping material loads with a wrapper and making clean the warehouse premises
• Record lot codes for tracking purposes.
• Complete outgoing shipment documents accurately.
• Communicate clearly & concisely in writing and spoken work.
• Evaluate freezer equipment activity and maintain organization
• Organize and secure bulk ingredient storage, packaging, and finished product per company plan.
• Operate standup forklifts and other powered warehouse equipment.
• Time Management: Ability to utilize available time to organize & complete work within given deadlines
• Reporting to supervisor regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazard
• Complete and monitor temperature logs each day.
• Maintain best safety practices of equipment and employees operating or near equipment.
• Performing routine post and pre inspections to ensure suitable working nature or forklift equipment
• All other duties, as assigned
