Job Title: Warehouse Kitting Supervisor

Department: Warehouse

Direct Report: Director of Operations

Supervisory Responsibility: Kitting personnel

Job Summary

The Kitting Supervisor oversees the kitting process within the warehouse, gathering and packaging specific items into kits, maintaining inventory levels for completed stock kits and supporting products, promptly adding products to inventory at receipt, and coordinating with receiving, shipping, and customer service departments.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

• Commit to the company culture of quality, safety, and core values.
• Develop and maintain a sense of urgency and a culture of quality and safety.
• Manage kitting personnel to ensure proper attendance, performance, and timely completion of duties.
• Oversee kitting processes and procedures to ensure kit components are accurate and properly documented.
• Enter warehouse transfer tickets for items needed in kitting inventory.
• Enter issue tickets for items needed for kits and returns to be added to inventory.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory and cycle‑count process, completing all required inventory receiving daily and accurately per company policies.
• Oversee special projects as needed, including assisting other branches, light building maintenance, assembly operations, and kitting.
• Ensure safe processes and procedures for kitting personnel, including proper training and use of warehouse equipment.
• Maintain general housekeeping and cleanliness of the kitting department, ensuring all safety guidelines and practices are followed.
• Learn operation of all facets of the physical facility.
• Maintain complete files for all kits built and in process.

Responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision of the kitting personnel.

Work Environment

This job operates primarily in a warehouse environment and a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, i‑Pads, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, and also operates machinery and company equipment in the warehouse.

Physical Demands

Regularly lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and stock products. Work may involve outdoor weather conditions such as rain, heat, snow, etc.
