Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Sort materials by type into correct bins or conveyor belts.
• Remove contamination and non-recyclable items.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as balers, compactors, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment for cleaning.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions.
• Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment safely to avoid damage.
• Notify management of repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Sorting materials: Separate incoming items by material type (cardboard, plastics, metals, glass) into correct bins or onto conveyor belts
• Removing contamination: Spot and pull-out trash, hazardous substances, or non-recyclable items
• Operating equipment: Use warehouse tools like balers, compactors, pallet jacks, or forklifts to move and crush heavy loads
• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed. Report any barriers.
• Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment to clean areas manually or with hand trucks.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
• Gather and dispose of trash/recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
• Notify management of the need for repairs or additions to building systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.
